iPhone & iPod Kiosks Coming in 2008

22 Moo will soon enable iPod and iPhone owners to download movie, music, games and media from kiosks located in airports, train stations, schools, shopping centers and more. The highly anticipated kiosks will be the world’s first iPod and iPhone compatible kiosks.

22Moo began developing a third-party iPod/iPhone compatible kiosk called PodBuffet, in early 2006. It featured multiple dock connectors, usb and firewire ports so it could handle Apple growing media player families.

What is the Digital Diner 9?

The new iPod/iPhone kiosks are being called “Digital Diner 9″ and 22Moo is planning to launch the kiosk at the CES and Macworld Shows in January 2008. They are being powered by an iMac 20″ and will run OSX and allow iTunes and Safari to securely run in public areas. Digital Diner 9 will be compativle with iPods, 1st and 2nd gen Shuffles, and iPhones.

I can’t wait to see these kiosks everywhere. I feel like we are in such a technology revolution right now. I never would have thought a few years ago that it would be possible to make a living by blogging from a miniature Mac OSX OS on a phone. Too cool.
