If you’re not familiar with Übercaster, it is only one of the best Podcasting applications you can buy. This great piece of software has been created with the Podcaster in mind. Übercaster has many advanced, but easy-to-use audio features such as Auto ducking, FX, ID3 tags, album cover art, mp3/AAC/AIFF encoding and much more.

No mac application does it - until now. And Übercaster does it right. Just hit the Record button and start your show. If you want to play/record an audio clip, all you have to do is click its panel, press its keyboard shortcut or merely hover your mouse over its panel.

Start an interview live in your show instantly. Whether it’s iChat, Skype, Gizmo or any other chat application - Übercaster records all of them. And guess what - Übercaster sends every sound you play in your show to your chat buddy, so he’s able to hear what’s going on in your show.

Nothing to worry about. You can always edit and fine-tune your show in Übercaster’s Cut Layer. Übercaster provides a full featured and easy to use multi track editing environment. Import additional audio files, readjust volumes and effects, split, move and copy recordings.

At first look, this software looks a little confusing. Once you use it and get used to it, it’s a great program. Once you go through the screencasts and tutorials on the website, it becomes an incredible product that is truly innovative… Let’s just say that I don’t create Podcasts in Logic Pro anymore.
