Color Your iPhone or Mac or Game Console
ColorWare can brighten up your hardware and is doing so one computer at a time. They have experience in coloring everything from iPods, MacBooks, Dell Laptops, SideKick llls, IBM ThinkPads, Zune’s and game consoles. Send in your beloved computer or buy one new from their website. Either way you can be sure that ColorWare will treat it like gold and paint it to your specs. ColorWare will even colorized your iPod docks and headphones for $10 each.
I want my computer colored! Visit the services page on ColorWare’s website and choose your product that you want altered. The first thing you will be asked to do is print out the order sheet, which is a PDF file explaining the order process. It describes how to package your product for shipping and contains the data and warranty disclaimer. Next, you choose the type of system (your iPhone, iPod, PS3, etc) you would like to send in. After choosing your system you will be taken to the configuration page where you can choose the color of your choice and any other options you would like.
This is really where to fun begins! Once you enter the ColorWare design studio, you can really customize your product of choice. Of course I chose the iPod and came up with the following:

Having the back and bottom painted costs a reasonable $149, but I continued to customize my iPhone, which came to a grand total of $199. I left the frame chrome = $0. I opted to color the button, logo, earbuds and dock Midnight Blue. Coloring your iPhone dock with be an additional $20 and the button, Apple logo and earbuds only $10 each.
This website is really fun to use and play with the color studio and see what all my electronic devices will look like all tricked out.
I don’t think I could part with my iPhone so I’m going to start with my iPod. I’ll post pictures when it’s done.
