Kuppersbusch Induction Wok
Traditionally, electric stoves have taken a backseat, performance-wise, to gas stoves. The coils take forever to heat up, and it is difficult and slow to modulate their temperature. Recently, however, a new form of electric stove has emerged, which offers performance that rivals–and often exceeds–gas. Induction cooktops use a magnetic field to create resistance in iron or stainless steel pans, causing the pan itself to heat up quickly. What’s more, when the pan is removed, the cooking surface is cool to the touch. Kupperbush offers a variety of induction stoves, including the Induction Wok Cooktop, which has an indentation in the ceramic surface to ensure even heating in Wok pans.
